PAR36 LED Flood Light with Screw Terminals
This is the wide-beam version of our 18-LED PAR36. It's built for lighting up a work area rather than reaching far down a runway: think tractor and combine work lights, a boat's deck or dock light, or the taxi light on an experimental airplane. It drops into a standard 4.5" PAR36 housing and connects to the same two screw terminals as the lamp you're taking out.
- 2,200 lm and 90,000 cd center beam, spread about ±70° side to side
- Draws about 15W, compared with 35–100W for most halogen PAR36 lamps
- Runs on 10–30V DC, so it works on 12V and 24V equipment and 28V aircraft
- Rated for 10,000 hours. No filament to shake loose on rough ground
- Die-cast aluminum, IP67 sealed, good for pressure washing, mud and snow
- EMC tested to CISPR 25 Class 3, so it won't put noise on your radio
- Free U.S. shipping, 2-year warranty
Need a long-range beam instead? The Spot version and the Spot + Flood set are on our PAR36 Landing & Taxi Light page.
Where People Use It
- Farm and heavy equipment: tractors, combines, loaders, forklifts, snowblowers
- Marine: deck, spreader and dock lighting. It is not a navigation light.
- Aviation: taxi light on experimental and amateur-built aircraft only. Not FAA or PMA approved.
- Trucks and off-road: work lights and scene lighting on 12V and 24V vehicles

I bought two of the PAR36 Aviation Grade Taxi lights in January of 2020. One failed in September of 2022. I don't fly at night very often, so these lights don't get a lot of use. The warranty is one year, but Handxen did sell me a replacement at half-price. One of the big selling points of LED bulbs is long service life. I'm not convinced.
I love them, they fit perfect! Much brighter than original incandescent bulbs, and amp meter barely moves when I turn them on! Thank you.
