Does it need LED driver/transformer 12 volt? or does it works with regular 12 volt transformer?

    April 27, 2019

    HANDXEN

This LED is built-in driver, so customer do not need extra driver or transformer. You can just connect this PAR36 bulb to DC 12 Volt or DC 24 Volt.

1.You can cut off the ends of your wires and either splice the wires together of install a two wire weather resistant connector in line so you can disconnect the light or needed. That's what I did and it works great. Trouble free and super bright.

Will this light fit on a regular 4'' opening?

    April 27, 2019

    |

    HANDXEN

It should fit into a standard 4" opening, it has the same flange front and 4" step in the back as a halogen "Capsulelight" It does stick out more in the back than the regular bulb. Dimensions on this bulb is 4.5 in x 2.88 in deep. Hope that helps.

Will this lamp also replace a GE 4406-1 (bulb diameter (dia): 4.5 in (114.300 mm)?

    HANDXEN

This lamp's real dia is 111.6mm, we think it can also replace a GE 4406-1 bulb.

Does this light require an in-line fuse for protection and if so, what amperage?

    April 27, 2019

    |

    HANDXEN

The real AMP is 1.0A/14.0V, 0.5A/28.0V. Due to the low AMP, we do think it must connect with fuse. But if you install with fuse, like 5A fuse, that could be more better.

    April 27, 2019

    HANDXEN

It fit my Unity H-1 Spot Light but it was a tight fit. I did a little Dremel grinding in a small area at the bottom near the retaining ring screw but not sure it was really necessary. Not sure, but it is a little bit thicker than std PAR36 bulbs. I used for aviation pu...

If this is, as the seller notes above, the flood version, what is the number for the spot version and where can one get it?

    April 27, 2019

    |

    HANDXEN

PAR 36 GE4411 is a flood, so to get a spot find the equivalent to a GE4416 or a GE4405.
